Constellar, partnering with National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) U Care Centre held an event to show appreciation for the workers under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), whose contributions are essential to daily operations. Since its introduction, PWM has supported sustainable wage growth while creating clearer career pathways, training opportunities, and tools for skills development and productivity.
Constellar’s CEO, Chua Wee Phong, shared more about the initiatives and personally acknowledged the dedication of every worker. NTUC Assistant Secretary-General Melvin Yong also spoke on how PWM helps workers better understand their benefits and tap into training and growth opportunities. Representatives from the Built Environment And Urban Trades Employees’ Union were on hand to engage workers, share available support resources, and highlight the importance of workplace safety.
The afternoon concluded on a warm note with a hearty meal served by Constellar’s management, courtesy of NTUC, along with goodie bags as tokens of appreciation.
